6.7-magnitude quake hits Santa Cruz Islands — USGS

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) — An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted Santa Cruz Islands on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 34.20 km, was initially determined to be at 10.9968 degrees south latitude and 165.4029 degrees east longitude.
