A Jamaican woman who has been in the UK since she was a child is facing removal from the country after losing a court battle to secure her immigration status. Shankea Stewart, whose grandfather was a member of the Windrush generation, is facing deportation after a judge ruled that she should go back to Jamaica despite the fact her sick father and most other family members live in Britain. US-Based Trinidad National Found Dead In Homeland

A 74-year-old Trinidad-born, US-based national has been found dead in Trinidad after going missing upon arrival there last Tuesday. The body of Yvonne “Eve” Trum­pet-Nichol­son, of Brooklyn, NY, was found on Mon­day at about 2 p.m. near the T&T De­fence Force’s base in Cu­mu­to, Trinidad. Guyana President Back Home After Cancer Diagnosis

Guyana’s President David Granger and his wife, Sandra Granger, returned to the South American CARICOM nation Tuesday night from the Republic of Cuba after spending approximately three weeks there following a cancer diagnosis of the President.
